A Pinched Nerve Changed the Path of My Life.
Dr. Floyd, Belmont Chiropractor
I always wanted to have a career in the health care field. I was considering being a dentist when, while playing high school soccer, I pinched a nerve in my neck. It was so bad I could hardly breathe. I decided to visit a friend who was a chiropractor. I was so impressed with the results I decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor.
My Chiropractic Education
I graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2001 and have been practicing in the Gaston/Charlotte area ever since. I chose Sherman College because of the smaller class sizes and its reputation of skilled instructors.
Utilizing the Latest Technology & Treatment Protocols
It is my belief that your body should be able to heal itself. Most of the conditions I see have a specific underlying cause which produces a symptom. Over the years I have learned the importance of determining and eliminating the underlying cause of pain instead of treating the symptoms. I utilize the latest in technology and treatment protocols to help patients with numerous health problems.
While Not in the Office
While not in the office I love to spend time with my wife, Anne Gray, and my daughter, Lilly. I also enjoy golfing, boating and traveling with my family. We are members of Forest Pointe Church here in Belmont.
My wife and I have started running road races. We are currently training for a half marathon in April of 2010. My entire family is under chiropractic care.
Thanks for Visiting!
I consider myself an excellent listener and hope I get the opportunity to meet you in person and discuss your specific health challenge. Give our Belmont office a call or email me.
