Dr. Pate didn't start out as a chiropractor. He spent the early years of his career as a pharmacist — and he was good at it. But the longer he worked, the more he noticed something that troubled him: most of his patients weren't getting better. They were managing. There's a difference.

After years of living with chronic pain himself — and watching conventional medicine offer little beyond medication management — Dr. Pate experienced firsthand what chiropractic care could actually do. The results changed everything he thought he knew about healing. He made a decision that surprised everyone around him: he went back to school, earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in 2015.

That background — part pharmacist, part chiropractor — shapes how he practices. He understands how drugs work, what they can and can't do, and why a body that's structurally compromised won't heal on its own no matter how many prescriptions it's handed. His goal has always been the same: find the actual problem, fix it, and help your body do the rest.
